"Bear Dads & their Kids" 1st Annual Camping Trip! Ever wish you could do something with other gay men AND your kids? The New Hampshire Bears would like to invite all of our woofy Bear Dads and their children  to a Kid-friendly Camping trip from Thursday August 7 - Sunday August 10 at the Beaver Dam Campground in Berwick, Maine.  (www.beaverdamcampground.com) This gay-owned, family-friendly and pet-friendly campground, only 10 minutes over the border from Somersworth, NH, features an onsite pond for fishing and swimming, a pool, store, clean bathrooms, movie hall (in case it rains), rental canoes, Game room including pool table and air hockey, Ball field, Basketball, Horseshoe courts, free use of sporting equipment, and Wi-Fi and central modem .  Maine's ocean beaches are about 30 minutes away. A small block of campsites has been reserved in the name of the N.H. Bears (sites A through F and 01 and 02, all right next to the pool).   They are being held for us until June 15, at which time they will be released. Please make reservations online directly with the campground. When asked for 'special instructions,' indicate that you are with the NH Bears.  (Shoot me an email too, so I can decide whether or not I should grab more campsites).   It is our hope that this will be an ANNUAL camping trip, where gay dads and their kids can enjoy a mini-vacation together....
